Sullivan Spooktacular Set For Friday

The Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for the Sullivan Spooktacular, Rooftop Food Drive Challenge, School Food Drive and Christmas Festivities.

Sullivan Spooktacular will take place on Friday, October 30th, from 3:30-5:00 pm.
Trick-or-Treaters may visit participating businesses that have a participating business pumpkin taped to their windows. A list of Spooktacular businesses can be found on the Chamber website and Facebook page, as well as in area newspaper. We have over 100 participating businesses this year!  A street closure has been approved for all of W. Main Street and North Clark Street. This will allow us to help ensure the children are able to safely Trick-or-Treat without worrying about traffic and to assist with social distancing requirements. The road closure will consist of the following intersections: Hughes Ford & W. Main, Taylor & W. Main, S. Clark & W. Main, S. Church & W. Main, N. Clark & Meredith, N. Clark & W. Euclid (both sides), N. Clark & Maple (both sides), N. Clark & Elm St. (both sides), N. Clark & Springfield.  

November 5th is the kickoff for the Thanksgiving Food Drive Challenge sponsored by KTUI Radio, Sullivan Independent News, and the Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce. Starting with the Rooftop Challenge on November 5, the food drive continues through November 18 with participation from area schools in a competition between classes.  

The Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce will be kicking off the Christmas season with a Virtual Tree Lighting Ceremony to be held live on Facebook Saturday, November 27 at 6pm.  

Save the date for December 3 and 4, for the second annual Christmas Festival Lights Drive Through!  We are encouraging all businesses and organizations to set up a display at the fairgrounds.  This is a no cost event and the more displays the better.  Please contact the chamber office for more information.
