Sullivan Man Receives Moderate Injuries, Flown To St. Louis Following Accident

A Sullivan man had moderate injuries and was flown to St. Louis following an accident Sunday on the North Service Road, one mile west of Sullivan.
The crash occurred around 12:50 pm when Jill Swarthout, 52, Trussville, Ala. drove her 1987 Dodge Ram into the path of Donald Richards, 75, Sullivan. Richards was driving a 1956 Ford Customline. Swarthout was carrying a trailer and Richards' vehicle struck the unit.
Richards' vehicle had extensive damage.
Swarthout was uninjured.
