Sullivan Man Indicted On Child Pornography Charges

A Sullivan man was indicted Feb. 13 charges of possession of child pornography.
A Franklin County grand jury returned a three-count indictment against Robert T. Byrd, born 1976. His arraignment was scheduled for Friday.
Byrd has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography — first offense, a class D felony.
He also has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography — second/subsequent offense or possession greater than 20 pictures/one film/video tape.
They are class B felonies.
According to the indictment, Byrd was in possession of the material on or around Dec. 7, 2021.
A warrant was issued Feb. 15 for Byrd’s arrest and his bond set at $100,000.
