St. Louis Man Injured In Crawford County Crash

A 22-year-old St. Louis man was hospitalized following an early morning crash on Interstate 44 in Crawford County.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:47 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, near the 222-mile marker. According to the crash report, the driver was traveling in a 2024 Tesla Model Y when the vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway. The car struck an embankment, continued across the South Outer Road, and hit another embankment before coming to a stop.
The driver, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, sustained injuries and was transported to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for treatment.
