St. Clair Man Due In Court On Child Pornography Charge

A St. Clair man charged with possessing child pornography is due in court Thursday, April 25 for counsel status.
Nathaniel L. Burton, born 1995, was indicted by a Franklin County grand jury in February on the charge, which allegedly occurred between November 2019 and October 2020.
Burton is accused of knowingly possessing a video depicting a minor engaged in explicit conduct.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on Feb. 26 and Burton was taken into custody on March 30 in Laramie, Wy.
He was extradited to Franklin County, where he appeared for the first time on April 2.
Burton has pleaded not guilty.
