St. Clair Man Charged With Child Sex Crimes
A St. Clair man was charged with several child sex crimes that allegedly go back as far as 2009.
Steven E. Huff, 62, faces two counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, two counts of second-degree child molestation, two counts of fourth-degree child molestation, two counts of incest, one count of first-degree statutory sodomy — sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 and first-degree child molestation.
The charges allegedly occurred in 2009, 2012, 2016 and 2020.
A warrant was issued May 29 for Huff’s arrest.
The affidavit accuses Huff of having sexual intercourse with a victim that was less than 17.
The incidents occurred on or between May 2016 and May 2017.
Huff also allegedly molested a victim between May 2009 and May 2010 and May 2012 and May 2013.
Huff allegedly had intercourse with a victim between November 2020 and November 2022 and is accused of molesting a child under the age of 12 in April 2020.
Between November 2020 and November 2022, Huff twice molested a victim, who was a relative.
A probable cause statement was not on file at press time.
