The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is seeking a possible witness to a fatal camper fire that occurred Nov. 28 in the 6000 block of Dry Branch Road in St. Clair.

Faith Unnerstall, 50, died in the fire.

An autopsy showed no signs of foul play.

Sheriff Steven Pelton said in a press release they are looking for Ira C. Shadday, a possible witness to the fire.

Pelton said St. Clair Fire responded to find a camper fully engulfed with a victim trapped inside.

Once the fire was under control, Unnerstall's body was located by EMS personnel.

Detectives from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and Missouri State Fire Investigation Division responded.

A witness on scene said he and another resident tried to pull Unnerstall through a window but were unsuccessful. They had to pull away due to the heat.
