Rolla Man Fatally Injured In Accident On I-270

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Rolla man was fatally injured Tuesday in an accident on Interstate 270, south of Interstate 44.
Justin Reeves, 34, was traveling in a 2019 Hino International when he struck the rear tow unit of a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia.
The truck was operated by Miguel A. Hertog, 46, Palmetto, Fla.
Hertog was slowing for congested traffic.
The highway patrol said Reeves failed to stop.
He was wearing a safety device.
Reeves was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hertog had minor injuries.
