Police Investigate Drive By Shooting
t’s not something you read, hear, or see in Sullivan but this past week Sullivan Police were called for a report of a, “drive by shooting,” early Monday, September 10, at 4:06 a.m.
Sullivan Police were called to the 800 block of Raymond Street after a resident reported that a shot was fired from a vehicle traveling down Raymond St. with the event captured on video.
Sullivan Police responded and confirmed on the video that a shot was fired possibly from a speeding newer model Jeep Compass, burgundy/red in color with four doors, occupied by two individuals.
According to law enforcement the gun shot was observed on the video however and inspection of the area did not reveal any gun casings.
Authorities stated Monday morning that they were not certain who was the target of the shooting or what it was in regards too at press time.
The incident remains under investigation by Sullivan Police at press time.
