Peoples Bank Employees Give Back To Cuba, Bourbon Senior Centers To Spread Holiday Cheer

Peoples Bank employees gathered at the Cuba Senior Center and Bourbon Senior Center on Friday, December 15 to help spread holiday cheer to local seniors. Ten employees helped serve lunch to 85 seniors in Cuba and 30 seniors in Bourbon.

“We have a culture where we like to be involved in the community,” said Elizabeth Long, Event Coordinator and Peoples Bank Retail Banking Officer. “Our employees are always listening to what’s going on in our customers' lives so that way we can find where the need is and how we can help give back. This lunch means a lot to these seniors and provides them a fun day with social interaction. We know we are making a difference in their day.”

Peoples Bank has given back and hosted several community events for the Cuba Senior Center in the past, but this was the first-holiday lunch they’ve hosted for them. They had a gift drawing and Santa also made an appearance.
