Pedestrian Killed Near St. James

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a St. James man who was struck by a vehicle late Wednesday night succumbed to his injuries.
Mark Perkins, 40, walked into the path of a 2016 Toyota Yaris around 10:43 p.m. on Highway DD, one mile east of St. James.
Perkins was flown to Columbia Hospital.
He was pronounced dead Thursday at 7:56 p.m.
