Icy Road Causes Vehicle To Overturn, Injures Driver

Icy road conditions led to an accident that caused injuries to a Wentzville man Jan. 15 on Interstate 44 in Franklin County.
Seth A. Reed, 21, was transported to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for moderate injuries after overturning his 2001 Jeep Wrangler at the 228 mile marker.
Reed was traveling westbound around 9:40 p.m. when the Jeep struck a piece of ice. The vehicle began to skid and eventually overturned in the median.
Reed was wearing a seat belt.
