Dollar General Store Opens In Stanton

Stanton is now home to Dollar General on the North Service Rd. at Interstate 44.

The store is the fourth in the local area with two stores in Sullivan and one in Bourbon. The store officially opened this past weekend.

Ground was broken last October.

Dollar General is first new retail business to open in Stanton in several years, with the store expected to not only cater to local residents, but many tourist travelers along Interstate 44.

The store will employ approximately 6-10 employees, depending on the individual needs of the store.
