Cuba Man Indicted For Sexually Exploiting Minor
A Cuba man charged last month with sexually abusing a minor was indicted for sexually exploiting a minor.
Shane Mullins, 29, was indicted by a grand jury in Phelps County for two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
The indictment alleges that Mullins pulled down the pants of the victim and exposed them, recording two different digital videos.
Mullins already faces two counts of enticement or attempted enticement of a child, one count of statutory sodomy or attempted sodomy with a person less than 14 and one count of third-degree child molestation.
Mullins was arrested by Rolla Police on May 29.
According to the probable cause statement, a juvenile victim that was “extremely intoxicated” was transported to the hospital for possible sexual assault.
The victim was found lying in the back seat of a vehicle with Mullins on top of them. The victim “did not remember much” and claimed Mullins intoxicated them.
During the course of the investigation, the victim’s sister said Mullins had inappropriately touched them as well.
The second victim was given a forensic interview on June 11 and said Mullins provided them with alcohol and physically touched them.
Both instances allegedly occurred around the first two weeks of May.
Mullins knew the victim’s age and asked multiple times for them not to say anything.
