Crawford Electric Thanks Members For Cooperation
Crawford Electric thanked its members in a Facebook post on Wednesday and said its power supplier is hopeful the "worst is behind us."
The co-op said there are no plans for service interruptions at this time, but "we are not out of the woods yet." A lot of stress is still being put on the interconnected power supply.
Crawford Electric is asking members to continue conserving energy during the peak hours of 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Ways to help include lowering your thermostat to 68 degrees or lower; minimizing use of appliances such as dishwashers, washers and dryers and unplugging unused appliances.
