County Law Enforcement Swarm St. Clair Residence To Arrest Fugitive
A Union man who was arrested last June as part of a search at a trailer court is back in custody after authorities tracked him down Oct. 29 at a home in St. Clair.
Brian R. Bell, 27, is being held at the Franklin County Adult Detention Center on failure to appear warrants for careless and imprudent driving, delivery of a controlled substance, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to display plates on a motor vehicle, failure to equip motor vehicle with tail lights, failed to equip vehicle with muffler, operating a motorcycle with no license, second-degree drug trafficking, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of unlawful use of a weapon for a total of $25,000 bond.
According to Franklin County Sheriff Steven Pelton, Ray allegedly took a vehicle without consent from a home in Union, which was later located in St. Clair
Additional units were called to the scene due to Bell’s extensive criminal history.
Two females exited the residence as deputies began calling Ray out using a public address system.
The females confirmed that Bell was in the residence.
The Franklin County SWAT Team was activated and authorities surrounded the home until Bell peacefully left.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Bell was arrested June 9 by members of the sheriff’s office, SWAT team and Union Police Department at Riverview Trailer Court.
Bell has been charged with crimes in several jurisdictions, including Union, Washington and Sullivan.
