Child’s Cause Of Death Undetermined

he Franklin County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the sudden death of a two-year-old child Monday, January 30, at a residence in the 400 block of East Springfield Rd., at 11:03 a.m.
Members of the Sullivan Fire Protection District, Missouri Baptist Ambulance, Sullivan Police and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office were called to the residence inside Oak Grove Village for a two-year-old male not breathing and not conscious.
According to law enforcement, the child passed away with no clear reason at press time Monday.
Franklin County Sheriff Steve Pelton stated that an autopsy on the child will be performed and that the investigation is ongoing.
