Warren County Man Wanted In Crawford County Arrested

A Warrenton man with outstanding warrants in Crawford County was arrested March 4.

Larry A. Ransom II, 31, was caught hiding behind furniture in a Cherryville home.

Ransom allegedly fled from Steelville Police earlier that day and he was tracked to a home in the 20000 block of Cherryville.

Ransom was sentenced to probation in July 2021 for tampering with a motor vehicle, stealing, burglary and resisting arrest.

He was being investigated in a fraud case from Nov. 21, 2022 and was taken into custody on a six-count warrant.

Ransom received a bond reduction Nov. 23 and was released on his own recognizance. 

He failed to appear in court December and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said he eluded custody.
