Vehicle Overturns On Icy Road In Bourbon

Icy road conditions led to a minivan overturning Feb. 16 on Highway C in Bourbon.

The driver had minor injuries.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 1 p.m.

Doyen D. Cupp, 78, Cuba, was traveling in a 1999 Plymouth Voyager.

Cupp lost control of the van and sideswiped a 2007 Dodge Caravan driven by Megan A. Wehmeyer, 33, Bourbon.

Cupp’s van traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. 

He was wearing a seat belt and taken to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for treatment.

Wehmeyer was uninjured. Her vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
