Superintendents, Sheriff Hoping To Roll Out Countywide SRO Program

School superintendents in Crawford County, along with Sheriff Darin Layman, are hoping to roll out a countywide School Resource Officer (SRO) program that would place an officer in each of the three districts.
Crawford County R-II Superintendent Curt Graves addressed commissioners on Tuesday and said the program would be beneficial.
Right now, Cuba is the only district with an SRO, which is in collaboration with the Cuba Police Department.
