Sullivan Man Charged With Drug Possession

A Sullivan man faces drug possession charges stemming from his December 2021 arrest in Crawford County.

Bobby Joe Massa, 37, was arrested Dec. 27, 2021 on Landers Road in Sullivan.

Massa has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance

Massa was driving a vehicle with a suspended license and lacked proof of insurance.

During a search of his vehicle, a glass smoking pipe with a plastic straw, two plastic baggies with two large crystal rocks believed to be methamphetamine, according to the probable cause statement.

Another plastic bag containing 21 pills, a bag contained a crushed crystal substance, a bag containing a broken pill, a bag containing a crushed brown substance and a plastic bag with an off white substance also were seized.

A criminal summons was issued Dec. 16 for Massa.
