Person Being Questioned In Rape Investigation

Bourbon Police Chief Paul Satterfield provided an update Friday on a reported rape that happened Tuesday on Frontier Lane.

Police are still trying to put the pieces together. Initially when the case broke, Satterfield said a home invasion and rape incident was reported on Frontier Lane. Around the same time, there was a reported burglary nearby.

The burglary case has been solved and charges are pending against a suspect. That suspect is being questioned in the home invasion that led to an alleged rape.

Satterfield complimented the Franklin County Task Force for their help, saying they “did a great job.”

Asked about the limited description of the suspect — described as being approximately 6-2, wearing camouflage and a black backpack — Satterfield said it was the only information police had.
