Man Sentenced To 20 Years For Sodomy, Child Molestation

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said a man pleaded guilty March 1 to first-degree sodomy and first-degree child molestation.
Richard A. Young, 59, was arrested in May 2020 after authorities began investigating him three months earlier for engaging in sexual acts with a minor.
Online court records show that Young’s last address was in Crystal City, but the case was in Crawford County.
Court records also show Young charged with 19 counts of sodomy, child molestation and sexual misconduct.
Young is represented by Scott Rosenblum.
Online records show that Young is scheduled to go to trial at the end of March.
