Food Packages Available At Bourbon Elementary For All Students

Crawford County R-I is partnering with Lasting Hope Assembly of God and Convoy of Hope to provide food packages for children during the month of June.

The packages will be available every Friday in June at Bourbon Elementary. Families may pick them up between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

The program is open to children ages 4 to 18. Children do not have to be enrolled in summer school to receive a package and parents may pick up the packages without bringing their children with them.

District officials said the effort is intended to help make sure children in the community have access to nutritious food during the summer months.

The pickup location is Bourbon Elementary. Packages will be available Fridays in June from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Families who may benefit from the program are encouraged to take part.
