Ex-Convict Charged With Drug Possession

A Steelville man has been charged with drug possession after a multi-agency search at his residence turned up methamphetamine.
The man is on probation for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
According to the probable cause statement, members of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Steelville Police Department and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group served a warrant July 27 at his residence.
