District Will Explore Four-Day Week
The Bourbon School Board will explore a four-day week and possibly join a growing list of districts in the state looking to cut costs while making positions more attractive.
School board members had a discussion on the topic during the December 19 meeting.
Reducing the school week to four days is trending in Missouri. There are 61 districts in the state operating on a four-day schedule, typically Tuesday through Friday.
