Crawford County Fair Opens July 11

The 76th annual Crawford County Fair opens Tuesday, July 11, with five days of events at Hood Park in Cuba.

Country artists Jon Langston and Tyler Farr will headline the main stage entertainment on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Farr is a native of Garden City, Mo., and attended Missouri State University.

His 2013 album “Redneck Crazy” went platinum and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the country charts.

The fair kicks off at 6 p.m. with the parade and while gate admission is free, carnival rides are $20. 

Daily admission for Wednesday and Thursday is $15, which includes carnival rides. 

Wednesday’s activity slate features the children’s pageant, the queen talent show, Bulls and Barrels and the queen coronation on the main stage at 9 p.m.

Thursday will feature the prince and princess contest, more Bulls and Barrels and the youth pageant at 8:30 p.m.

Admission is $20 on Friday and includes carnival rides.

The night includes a cornhole tournament, pedal tractor pull, Diesel Dirt Drags and Jon Langston taking the main stage at 8:30 p.m.

Dead Roads Band will play the beer garden at 10 p.m.

Admission is $25 for Saturday, which features the livestock auction at 1 p.m., antique tractor pull, truck and tractor pull and Farr on the main stage at 8:30 p.m.

The Hunter Hathcoat Band will hit the beer garden stage at 10 p.m.
