County Sets Deadline For First Round Of ARPA
Crawford County commissioners have set Nov. 30 as the deadline for the first round of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding.
The county is going through the Meramec Regional Planning Commission to distribute the funds. Crawford County received the first half of its more than $4.6 million a few weeks ago. The rest of the money should come available at some point in 2022.
Funds must be obligated by Dec. 31, 2024 and projects completed by 2026.
MRPC is crafting an application form that adheres to the parameters set by the county commission. Funds can be used for public health expenditures and water, sewer and broadband.
