City Council Questioned After Dog Bites

The Bourbon City Council is searching for answers after a loose pit bull attacked a woman and a juvenile.

While the city is pursuing charges against the dog's owner, residents at the council's April 18 meeting asked what more can be done to prevent future attacks.

The city does not have an animal control officer and neighboring towns have rejected overtures to contract with Bourbon.
