CCSD Says County Man Possessed Fentanyl, Methamphetamine During Traffic Stop
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Cuba man Nov. 30 who was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and five capsules of suspected fentanyl during a traffic stop.
Timothy Georges, 48, has been charged with five counts, including delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possessions for marijuana.
Georges has 13 felony convictions dating back to 2014, including theft and controlled substances.
Georges was released from prison earlier this year. He was sentenced in October 2019 to six years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
According to the sheriff’s department, Georges was stopped for an equipment violation.
The deputy noticed drugs within plain view and performed a search.

Georges has a bond hearing on Tuesday, Dec. 7. His bond has been set at $100,000.
