Bourbon Man Dead In Shooting At Mobile Home Park

The Crawford County Sheriff's Department said a 28-year-old Bourbon man was fatally wounded by a gunshot wound on Wednesday at the Lakewood Mobile Home Park.

A 42-year-old Bourbon man is in custody.

Deputies and the Bourbon Police responded to 8833 N. Service Rd., in the city of Bourbon,for a report of a shooting that occurred. Upon arrival of deputies and Bourbon Police, a suspect was identified, located, and taken into custody. Investigators with our Criminal Investigations Division were dispatched to process the scene at the request of the Bourbon Police Chief to interview witnesses, obtain information, and process the scene. 

The victim was located at the scene, however had succumbed to his wounds. 

This investigation is ongoing.
