Cub Scout Camporee

Sullivan’s Cub Scout Pack 444 participated in the Spring Camporee 2019 in Washington, Mo. 

Battling the winds and the threat of major rain storms, our WEBELOS scouts of Den 2 took on the challenge.  They competed in various events that included: Water Balloon Launcher, BB guns, Slingshots, Obstacle Course, First Aid, “Key to Fire” (lashings & fire-building), Tomahawks, and more. They were scored on six events and placed in five of them with two gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal. They set up their tents, helped prepare their own meals and (Mom’s get this) did the dishes. We concluded with worship services under the sky for Palm Sunday.  These Cub Scouts meet monthly at Eagles Hall on the third Thursday and all other Thursdays at Grace United Methodist Church, both at 6:30 pm.
