West Sullivan Board of Trustees Waive Utility Fees Through May
The West Sullivan Board of Trustees voted Monday to wave utility fees through May due to the ongoing state of emergency caused by coronavirus.
For residents, this waiver applies to the monthly base rate of $40 for sewer/water and $11.50 trash fee. The total amount each home will save is $154.50 during this time.
Commercial user base-rates are also waived during this time.
"The Board of Trustees for the Town of West Sullivan sincerely wish all of our neighbors and friends the very best during this difficult time. Please take care of each other and look forward to brighter days ahead," trustees said in a press release.
