Six New Cases Of COVID-19 Reported
Franklin County reported Thursday morning that six new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed, the largest daily increase since the pandemic began.
Five of the cases are affiliated with Sunset Health Care Center in Union.
Two of the patients are employees and three are residents.
The employees have been identified as two males, ages 33 and 57 of St. Clair and Pacific respectively.
The other patients are males ages 29, 55 and 62.
The sixth case is a 62-year-old Washington man.
This brings the total number of active cases to 18, with 10 in skilled nursing facilities.
There are two more recoveries, identified as two females from Washington, ages 77 and 91.
Franklin County has had 113 recoveries and 148 cases since March 23.
Seventeen people have died.
