New Case Of COVID-19 In Stanton

Franklin County on Tuesday morning reported its first case of COVID-19 in nearly a week after a 38-year-old Stanton woman was diagnosed.

The county has had a total of 135 cases since March 23 and 30 are active. Of those, 19 are in skilled nursing facilities and 11 reside elsewhere in the county.

On Monday, the county dipped to 29 active cases, the first time being under 30 since April 5.

Ninety patients have made recoveries and 15 people have died as a result of complications.
