Luebbering Man Is County’s 18th COVID-19 Related Death

A 71-year-old Luebbering man is the 18th Franklin County resident to die from COVID-19 complications, according to officials.

His death was announced Tuesday morning by Presiding Commissioner Tim Brinker.

The county also said two more cases of COVID-19 were reported. Four more people recovered, raising the recoveries to 114.

There are 21 active cases. Eight are in skilled nursing facilities and 10 reside elsewhere in the county.

The latest cases are a 39-year-old man from Union and a 24-year-old man from Lonedell.

The recoveries are two females from Washington — ages 89 and 84. An 80-year-old Washington man and 72-year-old Union man also have recovered.
