Franklin County Reports One New Case, Death

Franklin County on Tuesday reported one new case of COVID-19 and the 17th death related to the virus.

A 94-year-old Union woman has been identified as the latest fatality.

The county also reported two more recoveries, lowering the active cases to 13.

The newest case is a 73-year-old female from Sullivan. She has been contact traced and quarantined.

Of the 13 active cases, nine are in skilled nursing facilities and four are in the county.

The latest recoveries are identified as two females — a 62-year-old from Union and a 38-year-old from Stanton.

There have been 111 recoveries to date.

Since March 23, there have been 141 cases.
