Franklin County Reports 11 COVID-19 Deaths, 242 Cases

Franklin County reported there have been 11 new deaths attributed to COVID-19.

The deaths occurred in August and September.

Two of the deaths include Sullivan women — a 58-year-old and 76-year-old.

The others are:

80 yo female, Washington
81 yo female, Villa Ridge
79 yo male, St. Clair
60 yo female, Gerald
66 yo female, St. Clair
84 yo male, Gerald
62 yo male, Villa Ridge
66 yo female, Union
91 yo male, Union

A 74-year-old woman is listed as a probable death.

Franklin County has lost 202 residents to COVID-19 and 33 probable deaths have been tallied.

Also in its weekly report, the county said there were 242 new cases and six hospitalizations.

Five cases are in long-term care facilities.

The county has reported 12,304 cases, 3,095 probable cases and a seven-day positivity rate of 12.5%.
