Franklin County Recording 87 Cases, Four Deaths

Update: The health department said in a press release Tuesday afternoon that local hospitals are not running above capacity, indicating that social distancing is successful.

"We do not know how much of this virus Is circulating or how many people are contagious so please continue to take precautions to keep yourself healthy," the department said.

The Franklin County Health Department said in its Tuesday morning update that two more cases of COVID-19 have been reported, which brings the total to 87.

Another death also was recorded. This is the fourth as a result of COVID-19 complications.

The case involved a 79-year-old female. 

There are now 17 recoveries.
