Franklin County Adds Nine More Cases, One Recovery

Active cases soar to 73

Franklin County’s COVID-19 numbers continued spiking as nine more cases were confirmed Friday morning.

Two of the new cases are Sullivan residents, identified as two males — ages 13 and 23.

There also is one recovery.

Active cases stand at 73.

There have been 261 cases since March 23.

Franklin County also announced that a Union woman who was classified as a COVID-19 related death was removed.

The county said after discussion with the physician and a review of the death certificate, the death was unrelated.

The newest cases are:

  • 47 yo female, Saint Albans
  • 31 yo female, Pacific
  • 30 yo male, Pacific
  • 35 yo female, Union
  • 20 yo male, Leslie
  • 59 yo female, Union
  • 23 yo male, Sullivan
  • 13 yo male, Sullivan
  • 7 yo male, Pacific
