Five New Cases, Recoveries Reported

27 new cases since June 29

Five new cases of COVID-19 and five recoveries from the virus were reported Tuesday by Franklin County Presiding Commissioner Tim Brinker.

There have been 14 cases reported in the last three days.

Active cases are at 45, with 17 in skilled nursing facilities and 28 elsewhere.

Since Monday, June 29, there have been 27 new cases and 20 recoveries. Active cases have gone from 38 to 45.

Franklin County has reported 231 cases since March 23.

The newest cases are:

Two Washington males — ages 21 and 29; 

A 51-year-old Union man; and,

A 20-year-old Labadie man.

The recoveries are three females from Pacific — ages 40, 65 and 67; 

A 46-year-old Pacific man; and,

A 60-year-old St. Albans woman.
