County Warns Patients Who Visited Mercy ER, Total Access on March 20 to Self-Monitor

The Franklin County Health Department said there are four residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 and there are additional confirmed cases that do not reside here, but work in the community.

The health department is reaching out to anyone who visited the emergency room at Mercy Hospital in Washington on March 20 and Total Access Urgent Care in Washington the same day.

Anyone who did should self-monitor by taking your temperature twice per day and remain alert for symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat). The self-monitoring period should last 14 days since your last contact with the identified location.

If you develop a fever or respiratory symptoms during the self-monitoring period, please contact your medical provider by phone or contact the Department of Health and Senior Services at 877-435-8411 or Mercy hotline at 313-251-0500.
