County Reports 4 New COVID-19 Deaths

Franklin County reported four new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday.

The deaths occurred between March 15 and April 3.

They are identified as an 84-year-old Washington female; 73-year-old Villa Ridge female; 71-year-old St. Clair male and a 95-year-old Union male.

The county has lost 172 residents due in part to COVID-19.

There are 28 more probable deaths.

Cases

The county has reported just four cases over the last three days.

There were three new cases on Monday, zero cases on Sunday and one case on Saturday.

The last day there were no new cases was July 7, 2020.

Seven people are hospitalized and there is one case in an active long-term care facility.

Franklin County has confirmed 9,350 cases and there have been 2,135 probable cases.

The seven-day positivity rate is 4.7%.
