County Reports 17 New Cases As Total Rises Above 800
Franklin County reported 17 new COVID-19 cases on Friday as the total number surpassed 800.
Four of the new cases are from Sullivan
There have been 816 cases and the 10-day rolling total of new cases is 181.
The five-day average of new cases is 19.2.
The positivity rate has increased to 4.19 percent.
Hospitalizations increased from seven to eight.
Abraham Cook, Franklin County’s Emergency Management Agency Director, said the health department is no longer releasing information on recoveries.
Calling it a “time-consuming process,” Cook said they will be focusing on higher priorities, such as contact tracing for school-aged children.
