County Reports 16 New Cases

Franklin County reported 16 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday morning as the total count approaches 800.

No new recoveries were reported.

Franklin County has 782 cases total. There are 178 active and 585 have recovered.

No new deaths have been reported and seven people are hospitalized.

The positivity rate is now 4.09 percent and the five-day average of new cases is 20.4.

Two people have been removed from the case list — a 28-year-old Sullivan man and 42-year-old Robertsville woman.

Three cases are under review.
