City of Sullivan Suspends Utility Disconnections

The city of Sullivan is suspending utility disconnections through May 25, according to City Administrator JT Hardy.

During this period of time, no residential customer shall be disconnected from electric service for non-payment of utility bills, including all residential tenants of apartment buildings when electricity is used as the source of cooling or heating, or to operate the only cooling or heating equipment at the residence. 

Late fees and continuation/reconnection fees will still apply.
