Two Charged In Murder Case Plead Not Guilty

Two of the three men charged in the February 2023 murder of a man at Hood Park in Cuba have pleaded not guilty.
Malik Brandon and Maurice K. Williams have both pleaded not guilty to all the charges against them, including first-degree murder, first-degree assault, first-degree attempted robbery and two counts of armed criminal action.
The third man charged — Daeshawn Brandon — was due to appear in court July 27. Online records have not been updated.
Both Malik Brandon and Williams are due in court Aug. 21.
