Liberator: No Comment On Stop Work Order

Officials from Rocket Liberator Heaters declined to comment on the stop work order that was placed on the building more than three months ago.

Chief Executive Officer Sky Huddleston and Chief Financial Officer Nathan Chou were contacted Thursday at the factory located on Old Highway 66.

A sign is taped to the door denying entry to any public officials, likely a nod to Bourbon Fire Marshal Corey Rice, who issued the order in November.

Both Huddleston and Chou said they were unable to comment on the situation.

Chou said they are hoping to have more information “in a month or two.”

The order was placed due to a broken sprinkler system.

Correction: Company officials say the note placed on the door was up before Rice began to attempt an inspection.
