Driver Swerves To Avoid Tractor Trailer

A Davisville woman escaped with minor injuries May 25 when she swerved abruptly to avoid colliding with a tractor trailer on Interstate 44 in Leasburg.
Alexa Hampton, 22, was traveling eastbound at the 214 mile-marker in a 2010 Hyundai Tucson.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said an unknown tractor trailer was entering the interstate.
Hampton traveled off the left side of the road and came to a rest against the median cables.
She was taken to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for treatment.
Hampton, whose vehicle had moderate damage, was wearing a seat belt.
