District No Longer Requiring Close Contacts To Quarantine
The Crawford County R-1 School District is no longer requiring students to quarantine if exposed to COVID-19, as long as those students remain symptom-free and wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
The decision was made by the school board during its Oct. 21 meeting and the new policy went into effect Oct. 26.
According to Superintendent Dr. Kyle Gibbs, the students must wear a mask when passing during the hallways, being in large group settings, riding the bus and sitting in close proximity to others in the classroom.
